Coach Néstor "Pipo" Gorosito has publicly expressed his discontent with the management of San Lorenzo president Marcelo Moretti. Gorosito laments that Moretti has never shown him support to assume the role of head coach of the team, despite having maintained a cordial relationship in the past.
Gorosito compared Moretti's attitude with that of Matías Lammens, another official of San Lorenzo, who did offer him support on several occasions. According to the coach, Moretti has always opposed his proposals and has not shown a willingness to listen to him or consider his ideas.
Despite having moments of cordiality in the past, the relationship between Gorosito and Moretti has deteriorated due to a lack of communication and the president's disinterest in establishing direct contact. Gorosito expressed his disappointment over Moretti's lack of initiative to resume dialogue and clarify differences.
In Gorosito's words, the lack of personal closeness between him and the president has also contributed to professional distancing. The coach feels frustrated by not having received the necessary support to return to the club and by Moretti's lack of interest in considering his candidacy for the head coach position.
In an interview, Gorosito recalled that the situation dates back years, when Moretti was part of the Board of Directors and never showed interest in hiring him as a coach. Despite the coach's attempts to establish communication, Moretti never took the initiative to formalize a call.
Gorosito concluded by stating that the lack of contact with Moretti and the constant opposition to his proposals have affected his relationship with the president of San Lorenzo. Although they once maintained a good relationship, the lack of support and communication has generated a distancing both personally and professionally.
